Pair of outstanding vintage over-sized Brutalist lamps. If you’re looking to make a statement, look no more. These exceptional lamps are larger than life with their pleated, draped shades and richly textured surfaces. Bold is the operative word. The large table lamps are made of plaster but mimic cork, hammered metal, and wood. Gold accents add visual interest to the lamps. The design simulates brass hardware along the upper portion of the lamps. The edifices are adorned with the floral gold colored element on all four sides. The lamp bases have fresh black paint. These commanding pair of Brutalist table lamps, dating from the late 1960s to early 1970s, assert themselves as sculptural statements in any interior. The bodies are rendered in a tactile plaster finish that cleverly evokes natural textures — cork, hammered metal, and aged wood — giving them a layered complexity that rewards close inspection.
