About the Item

Pair of Neoclassical and Post-Modern style handmade Murano glass table lamps in the style of Seguso, Italy, 1980s. Each piece is composed of an amphora-shaped or jar-shaped aquamarine Murano glass base with frosted and Scavo finish. This finish provides to the pieces a rough and matte surface which bares resemblance to the ancient glass pieces. Matching tone lacquered metal structure. Totally hand-crafted and hand-blown timeless pieces. Very much in the style of AV Mazzega, F. Fabbian, Venini and De Majo’s Italian Murano glass creations. Palm Beach Regency, Hollywood Regency, Mid-Century Modern, Brutalist and Memphis style. For one E14 bulb each piece. Electrical installation renewed and fully operational, with original lamp holders. LED compatible. Perfect condition. Lampshades not included. The measurements are without the lampshades. Note: We always try to the fullest to respect and preserve as much as possible all the original elements of each piece (wiring, lampshade, finishes...) so as not to alter the original aesthetics and so that they can continue to have another life with their intact soul. That is why sometimes certain elements can present wear and tear, but they are part of the life of each piece, always providing a very pleasant patina.
