About the Item

Solid machined brass in polished unlacquered finish, hand-dyed and waxed leather wrapped wood, soft unstructured pivoting leather shade, hand-dyed braided cotton cord. All material finishes are living finishes: they will change and patina for the better with time and use. Light does not pass through leather shade; overall effect is a compact ambient lighting that can be directed any way and works well in small spaces, on desktops, credenzas, shelves etc. Individually hand assembled and stamped with a unique serial number. Slight variations in color, size and shape are to be expected. Recommended bulb "G16 5W LED 2700k" included. Maximum 40 watt bulb. Measures: Overall 19" H x 8-1/4" D x 6" W, shade diameter 4" x 4" height. Polished unlacquered brass components can be rebrightened over time if desired using Brasso and a soft cloth (careful not to touch the leather); to regain leather sheen, simply buff by hand with a soft dry cloth (no chemicals or liquids). Never clean lamp with any liquid products or detergents. Provided wired as per North American standards. UL certification available upon request. Each piece is individually hand-made to order and slotted in frequent production batches; exact lead time is determined once order is placed. Please confirm leather color and brass finish when placing order; price shown for Polished Unlacquered Brass.
