About the Item

An exceptionally fine quality and quite rare set of four Italian Murano glass and ormolu midcentury electric table lamps of good size proportions, circa 1950s. Firmly attributed to a seven generation Italian maker BAROVIER & TOSO, which still operates to-day at 30141 Murano, Venice, Italy Each lobed bulbous ovoid form glass body below an ormolu canopy with leaf cast detail, ending on a dome shaped circular spreading base on an ormolu circular plain base. Condition: Superb condition these pieces are offered in untouched condition with no losses to gilt or glass areas. Wired for USA & Canada, will require wall plus sockets Measures: Height (entire as shown an impressive) 20.5" (52cm), diameter (at base) 8” (20cm). Location: Dublin City, Ireland.
