About the Item

An impressive space age table lamp from staff, based on a design by japanese designer motoko ishii from the 1970s. Rare version with half- mirrored glass. This design impresses with its reflective surface and striking diffuser sphere. A cylindrical shaft sits on a round base plate. At the top of the cylinder sits a small e14 socket, over which a clear glass globe is screwed. A special feature is this screwable glass globe, which protects the bulb and visually enlarges it. The normally small e14 bulb (not included) takes on the appearance of a globe bulb. The transparent volume lends the entire design a certain lightness. the lamp is in very good condition with signs of wear and patina.
