About the Item

Rare Italian Murano glass table lamp produced in the 1960s. The lamp features a hand-blown orange Murano glass conical base and a matching white Murano glass dome shade with a molded ribbed decoration. Brushed aluminum mounts provide a clean transition between the glass elements and reinforce its modernist aesthetic. The balanced proportions and sculptural silhouette are characteristic of Italian lighting design from the Space Age period. Executed entirely in Murano glass with aluminum details, this lamp combines refined craftsmanship with a bold architectural form. A rare decorative lighting piece that works equally well in Mid-Century Modern, Space Age, Italian Modern, or contemporary interiors.
