About the Item

This piece was created in the 1960s. This was at the time a forward thinking futuristic design as the world looked beyond the atomic age and into space. Clean, minimal and current into today. This lamp presents a plastic shade and an enameled brown finish. The plastic shade has a removable top disk for easy handling of bulbs. The disk presents a whimsical dotted design that references space like styles. The base of the lamp is felted and is 6” in diameter. The lamp is 22” in height and the lampshade is 14” in diameter. Minimal and simply cool. East Coast, Hollywood Regency, Industrial, Old World, Glam, Mid-Century, Minimalist, Brutalist, Boho, Modernist, Coastal, Modern, Scandinavian, Eclectic.
