Starburst sunburst mirror, gold leaf, gilt iron. France, 1950s. Large size. This gilt metal sunburst miror has alternating rays in two sizes surrounding the central sphere. This Brutalist sunburst was entirely made with hand forged iron and gilded with gold leaf. It has a terrific aged patina showing its original gold leaf gilding. Place it alone in any room or bathroom or display it as a part of a sunburst mirrors wall composition with other mirrors in different sizes.
