Inspired by abstract forms in modern art, the designs explore contrasts and visual tension, inviting the viewer on a conceptual journey. The interplay of glossy and matte surfaces, smooth and textured areas, creates a dynamic relationship within the space, transforming it into an ever-evolving experience. By transcending traditional boundaries, MIRRORS of NOWHERE challenges the conventional role of the mirror, offering a unique and powerful expression. Ayse Demir is an Istanbul-based designer creating sculptural mirrors and wall pieces. Her work explores reflection as both a functional and spatial element, using defined forms and expressive surfaces. Each piece carries a sense of balance and a subtle presence.
