Each piece is treated with a hand-applied matte wax finish, allowing the metal to gracefully evolve and develop a unique patina over time. Finishes are available in a curated selection of patinas, including Raw Brass, Aged Brass, Bronze, and Blackened Brass.
The Looking at Me collection presents surreal interpretations of strangers’ faces, exploring the subtle power of eye contact. Each mirror is a sculptural portrait in cast metal, with hand-finished surfaces and contrasting metals highlighting adornment and character.
Available in two sizes, each features a silver glass insert framed in hand-polished cast aluminum with brass accents, finished in matte wax. Designed and made in Melbourne in limited editions, these mirrors reflect more than your image: they evoke presence, intimacy, and the quiet intensity of human connection.
Jordan Fleming is an Australian artist and designer working across furniture, lighting, and sculptural objects. With a background in cabinetmaking and interior design, she founded her eponymous practice in 2018, producing work that balances material sensitivity with a strong sense of presence.
Her practice is process-led and materially driven. Rooted in traditional making techniques yet open to experimentation, Fleming allows timber, metal, plaster, and richly pigmented surfaces to guide each design, exploring the space between utility and ornament where everyday objects become sculptural encounters. A sustained interest in fabrication, manufacturing, and material behaviour informs her approach, resulting in pieces that are precise, tactile, and quietly expressive, with function and character held in equal measure.
In addition to her independent practice, Fleming designs products for furniture and lighting brands. Her work includes lighting design for Australian brand Objects for Though, as well as product designs for New Volumes’ terracotta range, reflecting her ability to translate sculptural thinking into refined, manufacturable design.
Fleming’s work has been exhibited widely in Australia and internationally, including Melbourne Design Week, Melbourne NOW, Milan Design Week, and Collectible Fair. She has received recognition such as Australian Design Review’s 30 Under 30 in Product Design, Local Project Emerging Design award for Product, and inclusion in Vogue Living’s Top 50. Her work has also been featured in publications including Vogue Living, Sight Unseen, AG Germany, AD France, The Local Project, Artichoke, Belle Magazine, and the Australian Financial Review.
