About the Item

An elegant and very decorative Hollywood Regency Gilt wood Mirror in the style of Maison Jansen for restoration with losses to the wood, gilt and some old repairs. A two part sectioned mirror with an elaborate carved inside surround with fleur-de-lis alternating with floral motifs. The corners with scrolled leaves. With a wood backing. 54 x 34", Depth 4" Condition: Please see detail photos. There are several age-related chips to the gilt, loss to one floral motif upper left corner and re-glue of another tip, some losses to the mirror silver and a couple of old repair however the presentation remains striking and elegant in true Hollywood Regency style.
