A beautiful facsimile copy of what is probably the most famous book ever on the subject of furniture. This book is a facsimile of the Chippendale society's own fine copy. Despite its fame and great influence on English furniture the first edition has never been reprinted in full until this one, which has been done to mark the 250th anniversary of the books first appearance in 1754. This is from an original subscribers edition of which only eighty seven copies were produced.
