Antique 19th Century Victorian solid silver ‘grenade’ cigar lighter, modelled as a flaming grenade. The lighter operates from an internal fuel reservoir housed within the body of the grenade itself. A characterful and theatrical accessory, well suited to a games room or desk. Hallmarked English Silver (925 Standard), London, Year 1898 (c) Maker's mark has been rubbed.
