A striking pair of hand-carved green marble Foo Dog (Guardian Lion) sculptures fashioned as decorative bookends. Rendered from richly veined green marble with natural variations ranging from soft sage to deep forest tones, these traditional Chinese guardian figures display expressive features, stylized manes, and powerful seated forms atop stepped plinth bases. #5420 Foo Dogs, also known as Imperial Guardian Lions, have long symbolized protection, prosperity, and good fortune in Chinese culture.
