Country names that no longer exist—including Palestine, Siam (Thailand), British Honduras (Belize), Persia (Iran) and many others—are beautifully preserved on this globe, offering a fascinating window into early 20th-century geography and geopolitical history. CREATOR C.S. Hammond & Co. Brooklyn, New York. DATE OF MANUFACTURE c.1920-1930s. MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES Cast Iron, Metal, Cardboard. CONDITION Good. Wear consistent with age and use.
