About the Item

This handsome and stylish luggage rack was realized in the United States, circa 1960. It features curvilinear legs that meet in the center to create a stylized X-form base. The ebonized walnut legs are adjoined by cylindrical chrome supports that intersect the feet near the bases as well as the joint where they meet. These supports are capped by rivets in the same material that recurs in the slats that connect the tops of ebonized walnut legs. There are three black leather bands running perpendicular to the chrome slats, offering a dynamic material contrast. With its graphic profile and beautiful construction, this luggage rack is as versatile as it is aesthetically compelling, blending perfectly with any style of interior from Classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. It is in excellent condition. American, circa 1960 Dimensions: 27.5" H x 22.25" W x 14" D.
