This is a handwoven brocade fabric. It is woven in an original hand loom from the 1700s. The Oberdan pattern belongs to the Antico Setificio Fiorentino archives. This fabric can be used for all kinds of upholstery as sofas, armchairs, seats, ottomans as drapery and pillows. The silk and linen mix composition gives a special texture to the fabric, the 18 threads weft creates a three dimensional effect of the pattern, giving an remarkable depth. The geometrical patterns gives this historical fabric to a modern aesthetic. Mix match it with the more traditional patterns to refresh the look or use it as an unique texture to a Minimalist interior. Art.
