The Boccara Gallery director, Didier Marien, art lover and expert, has succeeded in creating a set of high quality, hand woven carpets in association with artists. This collection brings another vision of the artists’ work. Each creation is unique, a work in its own right. The artists are selected by Didier Marien according to his tastes, his affinities, but also according to the criteria of the art of the carpet. The “artist’s carpet” collection is a great success, very popular with collectors and several foundations. Benjamin Ewing is a multidisciplinary artist located in Portland, Oregon. With a background in editorial photography and print design, he aims to combine visual principles within the context of contemporary art.
