Measuring 110 x 158 cm (approx. 3'7" x 5'2"), its manageable accent size and luminous, intricate design make it a charming and historic addition to any interior. The central field features a rare and vibrant golden yellow/mustard ground, which is densely patterned with an all-over geometric lattice. Within this grid are repeated small, highly stylized geometric guls, star shapes, and floral abstractions, rendered in a varied palette of blue, pink, red, and green. The dense field pattern showcases the refined, tighter knotting structure typical of Kuba and Shirvan weaving traditions. The composition is framed by an exceptionally artistic border system. The wide, cream-ground main border features prominent, repeating stylized bird figures interspersed with geometric rosettes—a charming and iconic motif associated with Caucasian weaving traditions.
