This circular abstract rug design from Rug & Kilim's Modern collection is part of the collaborative "Your Floor is The Canvas" collection as well. This particular design recaptures the "Roses" design by modern artist Michal Cole in hand-knotted wool and silk to bring his vision to life. Further on the Design: A charcoal black canvas relishes streaks of bold red accenting to red, pale yellow and lilac tones for a graphic look of paint strokes. One can't help but admire the feel of a masterful classic, as contemporary as this work is with vast applications in modern design. Keen eyes will further note the silk's natural sheen, and its gorgeous complement to these powerful colors. The result is an iconic rug, yet of versatile size seldom seen in this evocative sensibility.
