This 8x10 modern rug is a fabulous new addition to the French Art Deco rug collection by Rug & Kilim—made with hand-knotted wool, inspired by the 1920s European movement and its most iconic works. On the Design: Keen eyes will appreciate the inviting texture, warmth of hues, and intricate play of sharp drawings in this homage to the French Deco sensibility. Rich tones of beige, chocolate brown and gold underscore a play of bold rectilinear patterns and fine dot-like accents in the geometric patterns—the latter where keen eyes will further admire brick red tones among the finer accents at play. Admirers of the craft will further commend the fine execution of pattern in this large scale, and the subtle sense of depth and dimensionality its geometry enjoys, keeping with the immersive, almost graphic element of an Art Deco rug.
