An 8x10 hand-knotted wool rug from Rug & Kilim’s Mid-Century Modern Collection, in collaboration with modern artist Jenn Ski. Enjoying warm tones and dynamic geometry in a bold new take on 1950s style previously unseen in handmade rugs. On the design: This piece enjoys both a gracious scale and unique, warm pallet playing fabulously with the drawing’s sense of movement. The background texture and finesse of pattern further exemplify the decorative refinement and meticulous detail this collection embodies. A comfortable yet iconic, bold rug, well suited to maximalist interiors among vast design applications. Custom Capable: Designs in this collection feature stock in alternate sizes, colors, available upon request. Further custom rugs in this and other designs available within 3-4 months upon deposit. Hand knotted in one of our most reputed long-standing partner looms in India. About the Artist: A graduate of the University of Massachusetts representing the team at Lilla Rogers Studio, modern artist Jenn Ski has been designing and producing an impressive collection of mid-century modern style designs that drew Josh to our exciting partnership. Sharing our passion for the particular post-modern style, Jenn Ski’s collaboration with Rug & Kilim represents the first representation of her work in our medium, with some of her current works favoring the mobile and cocktail style patterns emerging in the 1950s—connoting a remarkable student of the era who proudly references her home being built by a student of Frank Lloyd Wright.
