Hand-knotted in wool & sari silk, this 10x14 rug is from the new line of Rug & Kilim’s Modern Classics Collection inspired by antique Oushak rugs. On the design: The rug is made with a new yarn Josh Nazmiyal is introducing, which has a notable weight and sheen to it in thoughtful colors seldom seen in this style. The rug enjoys rust, brown and blue throughout floral patterns and archaic motifs. The weaving technique completes the old-world look of the pattern with high quality construction. The design is complementary to the rustic, old-world charm and transitional whimsy of Oushak rugs that distinguishes them from other, more traditional Oriental rug provenances.
