Senneh (Sanandaj) is renowned for producing some of the finest and most tightly woven kilims, distinguishing this piece among other antique rugs of the period. Although the title references a knotted rug, the precise, thin structure and tight weave confirm its identity as a superior flat woven kilim, showcasing the technical mastery of Kurdish weavers in the Senneh region.
