About the Item

In this listing you will find a stunning Antique Turkmen Ersari chuval, done in hand-knotted wool pile with flat-woven back. Chuval is a Traditional nomadic storage bag face with geometric tribal motifs. Rectangular bag face with closure loops / tassels along the lower edge → classic chuval. Back is plain striped flat weave (not pile), typical for Ersari storage bags. The chuval was estimated to made cca. 1880s. It is in very good antique condition. When purchased the chuval will be carefully wrapped up and packed in a way to avoid any damages in transport. As soon as shipped you will receive the tracking number for your package.
