52701, vintage Turkish Kars rug with Romantic Mid-Century Modern style. This hand knotted wool vintage Turkish Kars rug features a cusped central medallion anchored with palmette pendants on either end floating in an open abrashed cut-out field. Each corner spandrel displays a linear design outlined with serrated edges. It is enclosed with a leaf and eight-point star Meander border. Perfect for an entryway, alcove, nook, kitchen, bathroom, small space, mudroom, parlor, home office, den, walk-in closet, loft, lounge, sitting room, powder room, bedroom, study, suite, studio, short hall, hallway, foyer and entry. Well-suited for a range of styles: Traditional, Mid-Century Modern, Romantic, Cottage, Country, European, Rustic, Industrial, Lodge, Cabin, French, Georgian, Gustavian, Swedish Farmhouse, French Provincial, Bohemian, boho chic, Transitional, Modern, Contemporary, Eclectic.
