About the Item

Sampler of rug for collection, named "vaghireh". The nomadic weaver did'nt have a drawing on paper millimeter as done in an impprtante workshop, but they used a small carpet as a sample with various drawings handed down by his ancestors. It's very rare for him to separate from it, that he passed on to his son. Every carpet has its own history and tradition, its pattern and its colors. This one is simple but has two models of medallion. My whole collection is of 11 little items, plus another large Konya. ref. nr. 274 -
