About the Item

Set against a soft dove gray ground enlivened by ivory highlights and encircled by a parchment beige guard border, this vintage Sivas features an allover scrolling vine woven with stylized palmettes, lotus buds, and delicate rosettes. Finely hand knotted by Western Anatolian artisans, the supple pile and fine knotting reveal subtle abrash across the field, while areas of gentle wear impart a luminous, timeworn patina. Inspired by early 20th-century Ottoman workshop carpets, its harmonious palette and gracefully aged surface lend a serene, refined elegance to both classical and contemporary interiors.
