50838, vintage Turkish Oushak hallway runner with American colonial style. This hand knotted vintage Turkish Oushak runner features three cusped medallions, each filled with three roundel rosettes and outlined with a thick vine and serrated frondescence. The large medallions float in an open abrashed sand colored field dotted with geometric florals, rosettes and angular motifs. It is enclosed with a rosette vine border flanked with inner and outer guard bands. Perfect for an entry, hall, corridor, kitchen, bedroom, master bathroom, sitting room, mud room, den, studio, study, home office, foyer and entryway. Well-suited for a variety of interior styles: William and Mary, British Colonial, Amish, Chippendale, Regence, European, Rustic, Puritan, Queen Anne, Contemporary Danish, Modern Glam, Shaker, Pennsylvania Dutch, Flemish, Plantation, French Provincial, Traditional, Organic Modern, and Amish. Relaxed yet formal, the vintage Oushak rug adds visual interest and texture to nearly any style of home, whether it be Traditional, Transitional, Modern, Southern Living Farmhouse; it would look beautiful in a French country home or Swedish country interior.
