Made with hand-knotted wool in Turkey circa 1950-1960, this 4x7 vintage rug is an exciting new mid-century curation from Rug & Kilim’s collection of rare classics—full of unexpected and bright colors like few in its period. On the Design: A cool blue tone underscores all over geometric patterns, most notably the eight-pointed star, in a meandering border and a lattice-like field. The design features a blue and beige-brown colorway, though there’s definitely a notable presence of many other similar hues and accents, underscoring geometric patterns. Admirers of the will appreciate the many fine details in this vintage rug give the look of more personal, intimate style and rustic, old-world charm that gives Turkish rugs their beauty and distinction.
