About the Item

A brand new hand-knotted Mamluk rug featuring a warm walnut brown field layered with faded indigo blue, warm taupe, ivory, soft gray, and terracotta accents. The softened palette gives the rug a neutral, transitional presence while still allowing the intricate geometric pattern to feel rich and architectural. Inspired by historic Mamluk carpets of the 15th century, the design features interlocking medallions, geometric panels, star forms, and finely drawn borders arranged with a sense of order and balance. The result is a rug that feels structured and refined without becoming overly formal. Hand-knotted from Ghazni wool in a fine 50x50 quality, the rug has a comfortable low-to-medium pile with a smooth hand and crisp pattern definition.
