About the Item

The rug design reflects the aesthetics of the 1960s, an era characterized by a renewed interest in natural and floral motifs, but reinterpreted with a modern, artistic twist. The quality of the materials used and the attention to detail speak of tradition; in fact, it was knotted in two separate parts and later joined together. The rug features a rich, deep burgundy background, a warm hue that evokes a sense of comfort. Silhouetted against this intense background are large flowers in a harmonious combination of light blue and pink, giving the carpet a vibrant and refined look. The blue and pink flowers are distributed in such a way as to create a visual balance, with each flower seeming almost to float against the burgundy background. The workmanship of this rug is particular is performed on two frames and then joined, as can be seen in the last photo.
