The first in a debut collection by the abstract expressionist David Stephen Johnson. From his heralded piece Red Over Black III. Hand-knotted from the most luxurious Himalayan wool, this one-of-a-kind work of art is a magnificent piece that works beautifully in your interiors. About the Producer For almost a decade the design atelier Wowhaus has been searching for a collaborator to create a bespoke collection of rugs from the work of the abstract expressionist David Stephen Johnson. We finally found a partner in Danny Sanchez of DS Rugs. An expert in handmade, antique and custom rugs from all over the world Danny has brought Mr. Johnson’s work to the finest Nepalese artisans. With intimate knowledge of the Tibetan weavers Mr. Sanchez has brought together the artist and the finest craftsmen to create unimaginable beauty.
