Sky Lake is a textile piece for wall or floor. A sanctuary for rest. capturing a slice of the sky and bringing down into our rooms, soft like clounds but warm like a bed. A reminder of the endless posibilities of the future. Alfhild Kulper, a Swedish artist and designer, aiming to create physical representations of the soft spots in our minds. I graduated from Central Saint Martins University of the Arts London 10 years ago. And have since lived in the Netherlands, working as a fashion designer for the dutch brand Viktor & Rolf. ATOM4320 hand knotted rug by Laroque Studio Hand knotted in Nepal Dimensions: 130 x 160cm Materials: 100% ECONYL yarn 100?knots?/?sq inch Think of ATOM4320 as a close-up look. So close that the image is blurry and all we can see are different atoms connected with one another. ATOM4320 carpet became the finalist of the GUILTLESSPLASTIC project launched by Rossana Orlandi, with the aims to raise awareness about the reusing and recycling of plastic. LAROQUE ST is a journey to a new discovery. The essence of our studio lies in constant experimentation with high-quality materials, exquisite artisanal craftsmanship and techniques. We look for elusive connections and new interpretations - we find new meanings and tell a story. The fluidity of our designs allows for any change in colors, materials, the scale of a pattern, the size and shape of the final product. With every new color or a new weaving technique begins a new journey. Knot by knot. It feels like a meditation. And yet this very complex process of carpet-weaving requires extremely high-skilled level of craftsmanship. The pile height can vary. A knot of silk may be found right next to a knot of wool. A palette of colors is infinite. Katy Pititskaya a founder & creative director of Laroque St*. Katy is an interior and product designer based in Moscow and Milan. She graduated from Moscow Architectural University with a degree in Architecture and has received a master’s degree in Interior and Living Design under the mentorship of Patricia Urquiola, from the Domus Academy in Milan. Since graduation in 2015, Katy worked with Massimiliano Locatelli in Milan and with Crosby Studios...

Named after the word “Ki” for Earth in the Sumerian language, and informed by Mesopotamian culture and aesthetics, the tufted wool rug collection creates a contemporary language that takes reference from colors, textures and geometric motifs of stone reliefs widely used in the region. With its circular band of colors, earth tones and simple contours, the Ki no4 Rug showcases elegance and comfort, blending a contemporary style with ancient inspirations. Studio Marmi...
