A beautifully crafted English Georgian-style wingback armchair, upholstered in richly patinated hand-finished leather that has developed exceptional character over time. Combining classic proportions with outstanding comfort, this elegant library chair is equally suited to a traditional country house, gentleman's study or sophisticated contemporary interior. The generously proportioned high winged back, deep feather-filled seat cushion and scroll arms provide exceptional comfort, while individually applied brass nailhead trim accentuates the graceful silhouette. Raised on elegant mahogany legs united by stretchers, the chair reflects the timeless craftsmanship and understated elegance associated with classic English furniture. The beautifully distressed leather has acquired a warm, naturally aged patina through years of careful use, with subtle variations in tone that enhance its authentic character.
