About the Item

Designed in the 1960s by Czech architect and designer Miroslav Navrátil, this wingback armchair represents the sculptural approach characteristic of post-war Czechoslovak design. The chair is defined by its enveloping backrest with subtle wings, smoothly integrated armrests, and slender metal legs that give the form a light, elegant stance. It has been preserved in excellent original condition; the original upholstery has been professionally cleaned and remains authentic to the period.
