About the Item

Frits Henningsen 1889-1965. Desk arm chair in solid mahogany, seat with original horse hair upholstery. Designed in 1930-1950. Frits Henningsen was both a designer and a cabinet-maker. He cared deeply about quality, and was uncompromising in his execution. Many of his pieces, including this chair (c. 1940-1950), were crafted in his own furniture workshop, in central Copenhagen. Desk is sold separately.
