About the Item

A beautiful "Milord" armchair, designed by Marco Zanuso for the prestigious Italian manufacturer Arflex in 1957. The armchair has a frame made of fine wood, supported by four fairly wide legs with an asymmetrical shape. The front ones are slightly thicker to better support the weight. The frame extends to include the armrests themselves, with a slight curve between the backrest and the seat. The seat and backrest are upholstered in a soft and extremely comfortable navy blue fabric. The structure features beautiful decorative gold bolts. This armchair is ideal for reading areas and fits tastefully into any setting.
