An authentic Mid-Century Modern wingback lounge armchair produced in Czechoslovakia during the 1960s. The chair features a distinctive high-back silhouette with sculptural winged headrest, generously proportioned armrests, and original castors that provide easy mobility. Retaining its original striped fabric upholstery, the chair displays an attractive vintage character while also showing significant wear consistent with age and use. Damage to the upholstery, particularly on the armrests, makes this an ideal candidate for professional reupholstery. Its solid construction and timeless form provide an excellent foundation for restoration.
