In a world of temporary pleasures, Molteni & C creates beautiful furniture that remains a joy forever. Less-elegantly-clad examples of this legendary piece are more-easily and cheaply acquired but a beautifully-presented armchair, particularly dressed in this most stunning and tactile high-grade leather option in a striking, versatile neutral hue, is as rare as Hen’s teeth! Spectacularly sought-after as, whilst being as robust and hard-wearing as rhino skin, its softness and texture is simply divine to the touch. The perfect blend of luxury and practicality. This piece is in superb, beautifully-maintained condition, having seen light, regular use in its previous home, and is almost entirely free from fault, flaw or damage. Its hugely handsome order reflects the TLC and considerate use afforded it in the past but, as you would think normal when considering the nature and colour of this particular hide covering, it does possess a number of small, visible, but largely inconsequential marks and some grazing/scarring to the leather piping near the base as you might expect.
