Original 1960s Armchair by Ico Parisi. Italy, Cassina, 1960. Vintage Armchair designed by Ico Parisi in the early 1960s. The chair has been reupholstered in a light-orange graphic wool-mix fabric. Black half-moon metal feet. Very comfortable. Ico Parisi (1916–1996) was a highly influential Italian architect and designer. Working alongside his wife Luisa, he created mid-century furniture known for its sleek lines, organic shapes, and functional beauty. His work blended rationalist architecture with modern art. Parisi designed iconic armchairs, tables, and cabinets, often collaborating with the leading manufacturer, Cassina. His visionary "total design" approach seamlessly integrated art, space, and furnishings.
