Designed in the early 1970s by the renowned artistic and professional partnership of Tiziana Ammannati and Giampiero Vitelli, the "Kiitos" model represents a perfect synthesis of the radical and playful philosophy of Italian design of the era. Produced by the excellent manufacturing of Rossi di Albizzate, these seats are conceived as an unconventional modular system, capable of breaking down the geometric rigidity of traditional living rooms to foster a new concept of dynamic and informal comfort. Halfway between a large ottoman and a low floor armchair, the "Kiitos" model stands out for its generous, soft, and distinctly rounded lines. The structure, devoid of sharp edges, evokes an immediate sense of welcome and visual relaxation. The Volume: Each module is characterized by a slight central depression that articulates its silhouette, creating an enveloping seat that invites conviviality or informal relaxation. The Base: The seats rest on a recessed, almost invisible base, creating a sophisticated "floating" effect, lightening the imposing volume of the upholstery. What makes this particular set iconic is the choice of original upholstery: a fabric featuring an exuberant, stylized floral pattern, dominated by warm hues of red, orange, and burnt brown. This pattern embodies the chromatic optimism and Pop aesthetic of the 1970s, transforming the piece into a truly sculptural accent piece. The quality of Rossi di Albizzate's craftsmanship is evident in the perfection of the internal polyurethane foams and the meticulous stitching, designed to maintain the tension and shape of the volume even after decades of use.
