About the Item

This sophisticated Art Deco Machine Age occasional/ side chair was realized in the United States, circa 1935. It features a subtly cantilevered tubular bent aluminum frame with a floating back seat, streamlined arms, and a gently rounded cushion attached in the back via two rectangular supports in the same material. With its iconically Machine Age aesthetic and materials, this chair is sure to delight discerning collectors of American Art Deco design, as well as those with a penchant for unusual and compelling objects. Its clean lines and neutral palate ensure that it would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Deco to contemporary.
