A refined pair of French mid-century modern lounge chairs in the style of Airborne, fully restored and newly upholstered. These elegant low-profile chairs feature a sculptural silhouette with gently curved armrests and a deep, enveloping seat, characteristic of French design from the 1950s–1960s. The frames have been completely reupholstered with new padding and high-quality fabric, offering both comfort and durability. The upholstery features a textured weave reminiscent of bouclé and heathered textiles, in a soft neutral tone that enhances the organic lines of the design. The chairs retain their original metal legs with a gilt finish, now naturally worn over time, adding a subtle patina and authenticity to the pieces. Comfortable and visually striking, this pair would integrate beautifully into a modern, minimalist, or wabisabi inspired interior.
