This pair of model "J Lang" armchairs was designed by Philippe Starck in 1987 for Driade. These chairs were integrated to the Lang collection, specifically crafted to furnish the French Ministry of Culture as a tribute to the then-minister, Jack Lang. Their minimalist yet comfortable design remains iconic, featuring a structure upholstered in sleek black leather and a profiled back leg in cast aluminum.
