About the Item

Pair of 'Utrecht' Armchairs attributed to Gerrit Rietveld, The Netherlands 1960's Provenance: I received this information when purchasing from the previous owners. The wooden frame was built by Gerard van de Groenekan 'workshop' Carpenter (This is where the Utrecht chair by Gerrit Rietveld was also originally made) These Chairs are traditional constructed with wooden frame, springs all classically upholstered like the original Utrecht chair also was made. Other than the original chair these arms are in beautiful Solid Oak wood. We have also a double sofa available, (ask for availability and price for this separate piece)

Reupholstered. Wear consistent with age and use. These chairs were new upholstered many years ago. They now need to be upholstered again, the inside structure is good. We kept the wooden arms as they are vintage with wear of use.
