Les Femmes is an innovative modular couch with a high backrest and a comfortable seat, characterized by its soft, enveloping shape. Using just three elements, its original design permits a wide variety of arrangements. The backrest and armrest can be variably positioned, creating an appealing, versatile seating range. With a raised backrest and armrest, Les Femmes is a snug, reassuring sofa; with the armrest lowered it is different and appealing; lowering the backrest makes it feisty and fun. The backrest and the armrest can be folded outwards by a special swivel device which enables a quick, fluid manoeuvre with a simple movement of the hand. The designer Giuseppe Viganò is dedicated to the industrial design of furniture products and to the artistic direction of companies in the sector. He also provides graphic consulting for the production of catalogues, getting directly involved in the photography, page layout, communication and advertising pages. He designs trade fair layouts and permanent furniture shops or temporary areas for specific events and personally intervenes by indicating the choice of products and scenery design.
