About the Item

This bentwood armchair was crafted by Marcel Kammerer (1878 – 1959), a Viennese architect and designer who immigrated to Canada after World War II. The stained beech is mahogany-coloured, giving the piece a regal air. Produced by Thonet, pioneers in bentwood furniture, this chair has an ample seating area, allowing for unconstrained comfort. Boasts contrasting off-white cotton linen seat and back. Two available. (Please reach out to see detail photos of either in particular.) Possible discount considered if pair is purchased together.
