Handcrafted Dark Black Wood Seating Time of Action No. 20, 1 by Chaeyoung Lee Materials: Ebonized and carved wood Dimensions: 120 x 30 x 36 cm. Ebonized and carved beech, various size. Customization is available. Please contact us! Time of Action is a minimal and carefully crafted furniture collection created by South Korean-based designer Chaeyoung Lee. Time of Action series uses ebonizing and carving techniques that include time and experience to faithfully archive small parts of the present. It was intended to weigh the momentary process with ebonizing, which slowly reveals dark black through several coats, and carving, which forms a new texture with repetitive body movements. The layer of time completes a direct tactile experience beyond reason. Hoping that we will stay more faithful to our lives by focusing on the process before the outcome, the time that's becoming, and "here and now."
