About the Item

A Dramatic Italian Midcentury stool / bench / ottoman incorporating elements of the Neoclassical and the Neo-Baroque in a Modern context. The stool is composed of a handmade gilt wrought iron frame with finials extending from the tops. A rattan / straw seat and painted decorative wood stretchers complete this rare and unique piece. A matching throne armchair is also available. Artists such the renowned French architect and designer, Jean-Charles Moreux made works using the past as a framework to incorporate elements of fantasy with the modern. References: Bamboo, wicker.
